Eiderdown

Eiderdown is among the finest natural fillings in the world. Its unique structure makes it exceptionally light, soft and temperature-regulating. It reliably retains warmth while supporting a balanced sleeping climate.

Eiderdown is characterised by its natural grey to silvery colour. Depending on the light and the fineness of the cover fabric, this delicate shade may show through the fabric. This is not a flaw, but an expression of the down's authenticity and natural state.

The eiderdown we use comes from wild eider ducks in protected areas of origin. Only after the young birds have left the nest is the remaining down carefully gathered by hand, cleaned and processed.

CRAFTSMANSHIP

Every eiderdown duvet is made by hand and individually filled in our manufactory in Germany. The down is distributed evenly across the individual chambers so that the duvet lies calmly and its warmth unfolds in balance.

The cover is made from German Ia fine mako batiste in 100% cotton. The super-combed fabric, woven from fine Nm 150 yarn, is especially light, dense and pleasantly smooth. The pearl colour underlines the calm, natural character of the duvet.

CARE INSTRUCTIONS

An eiderdown duvet places special demands on care. We therefore recommend that you do not wash your duvet yourself, but use the OKM Care Service instead. In our house, your eiderdown duvet is professionally cleaned, gently dried and treated with the care this exceptional natural product deserves.
