How do I care for my down products properly?

Shake out daily, straight after use, and air regularly in dry weather. Duvets and pillows need to breathe.

Can I wash my down products myself?

Goose down: Yes, standard sizes in a washing machine with a 5–7 kg capacity. Oversized items should be washed in professional machines with a larger capacity. Please follow the washing and care instructions.

No, we recommend machine washing only, in line with the care instructions.

How often should I wash my down duvet?

Where does your down come from?

Our down and feathers come from Germany.

What does fill power mean?

It indicates how well down regains its volume after compression. The higher the value (in mm), the better the insulation.

What does fill weight mean?

It describes the weight of down and feathers per square metre: the higher it is, the warmer the duvet.

Why are OKM® down duvets light and yet warm?

Large, high-quality down clusters have a high fill power and need less weight for optimal warmth.

Changes are possible as long as production has not yet started. Cancellations are possible within 24 hours.

It depends on room temperature, your need for warmth and your sleeping habits. We offer five warmth levels, from extra light to extra warm.

Ideally in a breathable bag in a dry place. The carrier bags supplied with our products are perfect for storage.
